Re. Yesterday’s article on the pitfalls that can befall a fledgling writer,

Life is full of pitfalls. You’ re not going to make it through without falling in a few or even for some, many. That part doesn’t matter. What does matter is what you do next.
Rant at God, rail at life, swear, cry, whine and moan, then get up dust yourself off and push onward. I note when watching competitive singing shows on TV or the Olympics this winter past, it is much more interesting to see how the losers behave than it is the winner. After all, there can only be one first prize.
Today is the first day of spring 2014. Jut out your chin and step into the wind with determination and grace. The day is filled with possibility of goodness happening.
